Yoga, Kriya, Pranayama
Welcome to a space where the wisdom of yoga and the power of breath converge to support whole-being transformation. With over 10 years of dedicated practice and more than 1,000 hours of teacher training in Peru and India, we draw from a wide range of teachings, including Himalayan Kriya Yoga, Ceremonial Yoga, Hatha, Vinyasa, Therapeutic Yoga, Yin, and advanced Pranayama. Our approach is rooted in both traditional lineage and lived embodiment.
Yoga, derived from the Sanskrit yuj — meaning to yoke or unite — is the art of harmonizing body, mind, and spirit. It invites us into deeper alignment with ourselves, cultivating presence, resilience, and inner clarity. Through intentional movement, meditation, and conscious breath, yoga becomes a path of awakening and integration.
Pranayama, the yogic science of breath, is central to this process. By skillfully directing prana — the vital life force — breath practices calm the nervous system, support emotional regulation, revitalize the body, and deepen inner awareness.
Our teachings are not simply physical; they are experiential and energetic. Each session becomes a field of transformation, where the practice nurtures the body as a vessel of spirit, steadies the mind, and reconnects you to the essence of who you are.
This is yoga as a living practice — grounded, accessible, and deeply sacred — a journey of returning to wholeness and cultivating the clarity, vitality, and embodied peace that resonate through every part of life.
Himalayan Kriya Yoga
Himalayan Kriya Yoga is an advanced yogic lineage of transformational practice — combining breathwork, dynamic movement, mantra, mudra, and meditative awareness to catalyze profound energetic awakening. Rooted in ancient Himalayan wisdom and carried forward through modern teachers, this system supports rapid inner evolution and the clearing of deeply embedded patterns of mind and energy.
Trained in India at Sattva Yoga Academy, we carry forward this kriya as a living transmission of evolutionary action. These practices activate pranic flow, awaken dormant potential, and expand one’s capacity for elevated states of consciousness, emotional liberation, and deep inner clarity.
Rather than focusing solely on postures, Himalayan Kriya Yoga works at the subtle level — purifying the energetic body, sharpening intuition, and opening the channels of prana (life force). It is both a discipline and a devotion — a path of remembrance, expansion, and embodied awakening.
This practice is suited for those inspired to go deeper, work with energy directly, and engage in yoga as a path of transformational self-realization.
Ceremonial Yoga
Ceremonial Yoga is a sacred, intention-led practice that blends movement with ritual, symbolism, and energetic awareness. In this container, yoga transforms from a physical sequence into a living ceremony, where participants connect with themselves, each other, and the unseen forces of spirit and nature.
The space is artfully prepared with candles, incense, smudging, sound therapy, and intentional ambience to create a field of reverence and presence. Oracle cards may be drawn for guidance, and elemental sequencing — invoking earth, water, fire, air, and ether, as well as the directions— helps anchor participants into deeper energetic alignment.
Rather than simply performing asanas, practitioners move energy, release stagnation, and activate intention through ritual, breath, posture, and collective frequency. Ceremonial Yoga fuses ancient wisdom with modern embodiment, inviting a shift from the ordinary to the sacred — where intention becomes expression, and expression becomes transformation.
Hatha Yoga
Hatha Yoga is a classical and foundational practice that harmonizes opposing energies within the body and mind. Derived from Ha (sun) and Tha (moon), it embodies balance — grounding and expansion, effort and ease, strength and surrender.
Through steady asanas and mindful breathwork, Hatha cultivates strength, flexibility, and inner stillness. It encourages practitioners to slow down, move with intention, and deepen awareness of physical and energetic alignment.
In this practice, the body becomes both instrument and teacher, revealing patterns, emotions, and inner landscapes. Hatha Yoga not only refines physical balance and mobility — it nurtures mental clarity, emotional steadiness, and a grounded sense of presence. It is the root of many modern yoga styles and a timeless gateway into the deeper dimensions of yoga as a conscious, embodied path.
Restorative, Therapeutic & Yin Yoga
Restorative, Yin, and Therapeutic Yoga are gentle yet powerful pathways into deep rest, healing, and nervous system regulation. These practices invite the body to soften and the mind to quiet, offering accessible support for all body types, levels of mobility, and states of being.
Restorative Yoga uses bolsters, blankets, and supportive props to cradle the body in fully supported postures. By holding poses for extended periods, the body enters a state of deep rest where tension dissolves and the parasympathetic nervous system activates. This practice is especially beneficial for stress relief, trauma-sensitive recovery, improved sleep, and emotional calming.
Yin Yoga works into the connective tissue — the fascia, ligaments, and joints — through slow, steady holds lasting 3–5 minutes or longer. This practice enhances mobility, hydrates connective tissue, and fosters somatic awareness. Yin invites stillness and contemplation, allowing practitioners to meet sensation with curiosity and patience.
Therapeutic Yoga emphasizes mindful movement, safe modifications, and personalized adjustments to support injury recovery, chronic pain management, and functional mobility. It creates a compassionate container where the body’s signals guide the practice, honoring each person’s range and capacity.
Together, these modalities offer a sanctuary of gentleness — cultivating resilience, inner quiet, flexibility, and sustainable restoration from the inside out.
Pranayama
Pranayama is the yogic science of directing and refining life-force energy through precise breathing techniques. Beyond simple breath control, these practices awaken and regulate prana in its subtle channels (nadis), supporting greater vitality, clarity, and energetic expansion.
In our lineage, we work with a range of advanced methods —with dozens of variations, kumbhaka (breath retention), and bandhas (energetic locks) — approached with intentional guidance and safety. These practices strengthen the nervous system, cleanse energetic pathways, build inner heat, and activate higher centers of awareness.
Rather than simply oxygenating the body, advanced pranayama cultivates mastery of internal energy. It refines perception, sharpens intuition, and prepares the practitioner for deeper states of meditation and awakening.
This is breath as medicine, breath as alchemy, breath as a gateway into expanded consciousness — empowering practitioners to experience the mind as spacious, the body as vibrant, and the inner Self as luminous and awake.
